We offer a number of activities, which include choir, orchestra, dance, football, swimming, drama, science, ICT and wildlife
Hostels
The Boarding experience adds an immeasurable dimension to a student’s education. Our outstanding boarding facilities are designed to create a comfortable family atmosphere and give the students a home away from home experience.
The hostels are spacious and house common rooms (entertainment rooms) fitted with smart TVs and HIFI systems, comfortable furniture and study rooms specially designed to provide a conducive learning environment. Amenities such as solar enabled hot shower system, serene and well-manicured grounds provide a comfortable and relaxing experience.
To ensure the safety of our students at all times, the hostels are fitted with fire-safety equipment which include smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and blankets and accessible fire-exit points. Regular fire-drills and inspections are conducted
Catering
The school meals are prepared by a highly qualified catering team led by a professional executive chef. The menu is specially made to fit into the nutritious needs of our learners and staff.
The meals are made at a central procession unit (CPU) that is based at the Riara Springs Academy and conforms to all the National health food standards.
Tuition Block
To complement the classrooms experience, additional learning facilities are available.
This include an internet connected computer laboratory, well stocked library, Science lab, Music and Art rooms, Home science room and a large multipurpose wall.
The tuition block also boasts of a modern administration block with a reliable Wi-Fi facility, CCTV cameras and serene grounds.
Events
A number of school events are held termly so as to provide forums for students/parents and teachers to interact. The events also provide an avenue for students to display their talents, academic prowess and intellect, social empowerment and generally actualize the vision of providing holistic education and a well-rounded student.

Academic Trips (Local / International )
Out of class learning is an integral part of the learning process in RSGHS. To this effect, local, regional and international trips are organized every year. The trips also provide an opportunity to the students to socialize, appreciate the sights Kenya, the region and the world has to offer and expose students to an array of cultures thus developing a sense of appreciation for their country and the world at large.
Local trips undertaken include;-

Sanatorium
Other health services provided include:
1. Health Education – Personal hygiene, healthy living and the transition into adolescence.
